Enterprise Branding and Whitelabeling
*This is a Partner-Managed, Enterprise level feature for Botdoc Spark. To learn more, contact sales@botdoc.io
Overview
Workspace Sources let you create a set of branding settings (logo and header color) that can be applied across any Workspaces you manage. Instead of configuring branding individually for each Workspace, you define it once in a Source Workspace and apply it where needed.
This feature is available to Partners (Distributors, MSPs, and Resellers) with access to the Partner Workspace.
How It Works
A Source Workspace is a named branding configuration. Once created, it can be applied to new Workspaces during onboarding or added to existing Workspaces at any time. Branding is not applied automatically. You choose which Workspaces use it.
You can create as many Source Workspaces as you need. This is useful if you manage multiple clients or brands and want separate branding configurations for each.
How to Create a Source Workspace
- Log in to your Partner Workspace in the Spark App.
- Click Workspace Sources on the left-hand menu.
- Click the Create Source Workspace button.
- In the modal that appears, enter a name for the Source Workspace.
- Click Create.
When naming a Source Workspace, choose something that clearly describes the branding it represents. For example, a broad name like "Default Branding" or a specific one like "Client A Branding" can help you and your team identify the right configuration quickly.
The Name, Branding and Transport Method (SMTP) of a Source Workspace can be modified from the settings like any other Workspace you manage.
How to Edit a Source Workspace
- Locate the Source Workspace you want to update.
- Click Edit (Pencil Icon).
- You will be taken to Settings > Branding for that Source Workspace.
- Update the Logo and/or Header Color as needed.
- Save your changes.
How to Apply a Source Workspace
When onboarding a new Workspace: Select the Source Workspace you want to apply during the onboarding process of a new Workspace.
For an existing Workspace: Navigate to Settings > Workspace Settings, select the desired Workspace and access its Branding or Transport Method settings. Then select the Source Workspace you want to apply from the dropdown, and save.
How to Delete a Source Workspace
Locate the Source Workspace you want to remove and select the delete option. Deleting a Source Workspace removes the configuration. If you need to confirm the impact on any Workspaces currently using it before deleting, review those Workspaces first.
Important Notes
- Branding is not applied automatically. It must be selected for each Workspace individually.
- There is no limit to the number of Source Workspaces you can create.
- A Source Workspace can be applied to multiple Workspaces.
- Access to the Partner Workspace is required to create, edit, or delete Source Workspaces.
