      ID Verify - Driver's License Scan/ID Verification

      *Driver's License Scanning and ID Verification in P2/Conversations, called ID Verify, is an Enterprise feature. Please click HERE to contact us for further information.

      The ID Verify feature in P2/Conversations allows you to get data from and validation of the Driver's License of a participant (or multiple participants).

      • Do you need to verify the participant you're speaking with?
      • Do you need a validated and clear copy of their driver's license for your records?
      • Etc.

      The ID Verify feature was designed to cover those use cases and more. 

      If you have ID Verify enabled for your team in Botdoc, below you will find the how-tos and use info to get the most out of this feature. 

      Note: This feature is broken up into 2 pieces, which you will see below

      Once enabled, in P2/Conversations and an open Conversation, you will find a new feature shown in your list after selecting the ( + ) button to add a feature to the Conversation. The feature is labeled as "ID Verify".

      Once selected, you will see a new feature ready to be set and sent with the subject line reading: Scan ID. Add your message and send the feature. 

      This first piece, when received and accessed by the Participant(s), will prompt them through the process of scanning their Driver's License/ID.

      When the ID Scan is completed, the images of the Driver's License will be available to download for your records from the ID Scan feature or the Media(s) tab to the right.

      For the Botdoc user, when the scan is completed, an ID Verify feature box will appear and be correlated with the scan (Example: ID Validation from ID Scan #xxxxx), showing a "Details" button. When clicked, the details on the Driver's License or ID will be accessible. 

      Included in those details are: Validation results (Pass/Fail), Personal Information, Document Information, Address Information, Verification Details, Document Images (cropped/centered), and Technical Details.
